Staff were pleasant. The courtyard was very pretty and the lounge areas were beautifully restored and furnished. The food in the restaurant was fine although not gourmet standard. The buffet breadfast was good value.
Our room and bathroom were very small and cramped and not good value for money compared to other hotels we've stayed at. There was rarely anyone in the reception room and we had to go searching for someone to help us.

Salas is a good town/village with few tourists but on Camino Pilgrimage route. Free village square parking outside. Very historic setting easy to find hotel location with a high class restaurant on site. Good breakfast.
Room poorly lit with a nearby constantly running water pipe

A delicious variety of homemade dishes, prepared with care. The castle is spectacular and the surrounding area offers countless activities. The rivers are so peaceful, perfect for fishing and canoeing.
Just loved staying awake all night listening to the constant drip from a gutter, such a soothing lullaby!
